Cascadia upgrades can change the pieces you place or organise the shared supply. Start with the part of your setup you want to improve, then match the quantities to your base game or Landmarks collection.
Complete kit: Base or Base + Expansion?
The Base Deluxe Upgrade Kit includes five leaf-shaped scoring-card holders, three stackable tile trunks, 25 nature tokens, two baskets and 100 animals: 20 each of bear, elk, fox, hawk and salmon.
The expansion configuration adds one trunk, 15 nature tokens and seven animals of each species. Its totals are four trunks, 40 nature tokens and 135 animals, with the same five card holders and two baskets. The expansion itself is not included.
Pick individual pieces when you do not need the whole kit
- Animal Tokens: 100 for Base or 135 for the expansion-compatible option. No trunks, baskets or scoring-card holders.
- Nature Tokens + Baskets: 25 or 40 tokens, with two baskets in either option.
- Tile Holders: three trunks for Base or four for the complete option.
- Leaf Card Holders: five supports for the wildlife scoring cards.
These categories are already included in the corresponding deluxe kit. If you own part of the range, fill the missing category instead of buying it again inside a complete set.
Preserve random wildlife draws
Different three-dimensional animal shapes can be distinguishable by touch. A practical way to keep the original blind draw is to draw the game's original wildlife discs and then place the matching deluxe animal. Keep the original discs and follow the game's setup and scoring rules.
Tile trunks hold the supply during play; they are not advertised here as a full-box insert. Leaf holders display scoring cards, while the two baskets store nature tokens. Choose organisation pieces if you want to keep using your original animals.
Community ideas and scope
The Cascadia files section on BGG includes organisers and setup aids, showing another approach to arranging the supply. Those designs are separate from our products. This guide compares unofficial DeluxyGames accessories, not a new deluxe edition of the game.
