The key choice in the Earthborne Rangers range is whether you want role miniatures alone or miniatures with counters and personality tokens. Choosing a larger player configuration changes one part of the kit, not every component.
Miniatures only
The Role Miniatures Set contains eight core-game roles: Exceptional Tinkerer, Guardian, Peerless Pathfinder, Prodigy of the Floating Tower, Masterful Engineer, Voice of the Elders, Undaunted Seeker and Adherent of the First Ideal. Choose this option if you want the figures while keeping your existing tracking pieces.

What stays the same in the deluxe kit?
Every player option in the Deluxe Upgrade Set includes all eight role miniatures and 15 dice counters: five Harm, five Progress and five General. You do not need to select four players simply to receive all eight roles.
What changes with player count?
- 1 Player: one personality token set, 12 tokens.
- 2 Players: two personality token sets, 24 tokens.
- 3 Players: three personality token sets, 36 tokens.
- 4 Players: four personality token sets, 48 tokens.
Choose the configuration for the number of personality-token sets you want available. Moving from one to four players does not multiply the 15 dice counters or the eight figures. If you already own the role-only set, a full kit would repeat those figures.

Physical pieces, not campaign content
These upgrades do not add Rangers, cards, campaign material or an expansion. Use your rulebook to determine what each counter represents and when it changes.
BGG separately lists the publisher's wooden Ranger meeple accessory. That is a different product from the unofficial DeluxyGames miniatures and counters compared here. Do not transfer another maker's material, dimensions or storage claims to these sets. Fit with a specific insert or sleeve arrangement is not confirmed in this guide.
