Separate the Ever Tree, resource storage and replacement tokens before choosing an Everdell upgrade. You may want a better place for your existing pieces, new pieces themselves, or both.
With the tree or without it?
Both versions of the Deluxe Upgrade Kit contain the same accessory collection. Upgrade Kit excludes the tree; Full Deluxe Kit (with Tree) adds the Deluxe Ever Tree. The tree is also sold on its own, so you do not have to replace resources to change that part of your table.
What is already in both kits?
Each includes 30 twigs, 30 berries, 25 resin and 20 pebbles; 25 one-point and 20 three-point coins; 20 base-game occupied doors and 18 golden Newleaf doors; six open signs; 24 animal meeples; themed containers and four mini log card holders. The animal selection is six each of alpacas, koalas, kangaroos and pangolins.
The seashell is a holder for your own Pearlbrook pearls. Pearl tokens and the Pearlbrook expansion are not supplied. The golden doors are for Newleaf; buying them does not supply that expansion.
Choose a smaller upgrade if you already own premium pieces
- Resources & Point Coins: choose resources, coins or both. These are the same component categories already listed in the kits.
- Occupied Doors: choose 20 base doors, 18 golden Newleaf doors, or the combined 38-piece option.
- Resource Holders: Basic or Extended containers, with or without the optional critter meeples. Containers do not mean the replacement resources are included.
Plan around your existing edition
Lay out what you already have before buying the full kit. If you are happy with your resources, holders or the standalone tree may be enough. If you buy the full kit, adding the resource-and-coin set or the complete door set again duplicates those categories.
