Compare Food Chain Magnate food-token sets for two or up to four players, with or without Ketchup expansion resources. Check quantities and overlap.
Choose the game content first
The base-game sets contain beer, pizza, lemonade, cola and hamburgers. The expansion configurations also contain coffee, noodles, sushi and kimchi. Choose the expansion configuration only if you want those additional resource types; it does not include The Ketchup Mechanism & Other Ideas itself.
Then choose the supply size
- Base Game — 2 Players: 20 of each of the five base resources, 100 pieces.
- Base Game — Up To 4 Players: 40 of each base resource, 200 pieces.
- Base Game + Expansion — 2 Players: the 100 base pieces, 20 coffee, 20 noodles, 20 sushi and six kimchi, 166 pieces.
- Base Game + Expansion — 4 Players: 40 of each of the eight other resources and 12 kimchi, 332 pieces.
The expansion configurations already include the base resources. Buying a base pack as well duplicates those components.
What the player labels do not promise
These labels describe accessory quantities. They do not change the game's player limit or guarantee a full supply for five or six players. Keep original counters available and follow the rules for resource supply.
The pieces are PLA food and drink accessories. They do not include employees, milestones, restaurant pieces, maps or money. Choose them to change how your food supply looks and handles, not to obtain the expansion's gameplay.
Reference and context
BoardGameGeek’s expansion entry identifies the additional food types. The quantities on this page refer to the accessory variants, not the expansion box. Read the source.
