Compare the 42-stone Vale of Eternity base set and the 54-piece base + Curse option with 12 reversible Ward tokens. Avoid duplicating the stones.
Base stones or stones plus Curse?
The base option contains 42 magic stones: 16 red valued 1, 14 blue valued 3 and 12 purple valued 6. Choose it if you want to replace those base-game counters while keeping the rest of your components.
The Base + Curse option includes the same 42 stones plus 12 reversible Ward tokens, for 54 pieces. You do not need to buy both options to obtain the base stones.

Curse and Artifacts are different expansions
The additional Ward tokens in this product are identified for Curse. Do not interpret the expansion selection as a general bundle for every expansion or as an Artifacts-specific component set. Check the expansion name on your own box.
Count stones and values separately
A stone's value is not the same as the number of pieces you hold. Keep the denominations readable and follow the game's limits and exchange rules exactly. Replacing a flat marker with a shaped stone does not change how it counts under those rules.
The accessory does not include creatures, cards, the base game or Curse. The larger option supplies markers for use with expansion content you own; it does not unlock that content by itself. Keep your original components if you use a variant or additional content not covered by the itemised list.
